Good weather also means it’s time to dust your motorbike and set it up for the new season! Have you ever taken a trip to Montefeltro? Spectacular views and typical farms are our strong point, make sure you don’t miss them. Each route has its specials. Here are some suggested itineraries for some short or long panoramic rides through our magnificent territory, starting from Urbino.
- The Capute road goes from Urbino to Urbania, a short 23 km route from for great fun. Between hairpin bends, light curves and tarmac roads the landscape will amaze you at each and every new view. The two towns of Urbino and Urbania are also stunning, full of art and culture.
- The Pass of the Gola del Furlo (Furlo Gorge) is definitely the ideal route for motor bikers. Starting from Urbino with direction Fermignano, the itinerary runs for for 33 km until Fossombrone with recommended stops in several villages where you can find refreshment and rest. In the Furlo nature sanctuary you can enjoy a picnic along the Candigliano river and take an excursion to Monte Pietralata (889 m) and to Monte Paganuccio (976 m).
- Why not also take a look in neighbouring regions? The Valico dello Spino (in the province of Arezzo) is very popular among motor bikers, who think this is a real “motorcycle circuit”. You can reach it from Urbino, and enjoy the about 100 km of gentle curves that cross the centres of tiny villages. The most beautiful parts are those that go from Pieve Santo Stefano to Chiusi della Verna, where the asphalt is smooth and the roadway is broad.
Dear Bikers, if we have convinced you to jump on your saddle, remember that Tenuta Santi Giacomo and Filippo is just 10 km from Urbino!
