The Vicarage

Breakfast is served in what was originally the Vicarage, or the residence of the local priest (the Canonica as it is known in Italian).  Not surprisingly, it’s located right next door to the Abbey (l’Abbazia, in Italian).

Between 7.30am and 10am, an amazing  array of “continental-style” delights is available for guests. There are croissants and other breakfast pastries, as well as fresh bread, including whole-wheat and multi-grain, all lovingly baked by our Pastry Chef. As with the other meals we serve, most of the ingredients have come from our own Organic farm, so you can be sure everything is locally sourced.

Complementing the baked goods is a splendid selection of artisanal jams and preserves, muesli, yogurt, and local cold cuts, as well as seasonal fresh and dried fruit. Organic fruit juice, coffee, cappuccino, tea and infusions complete the offering. Since your wish is our command, please notify Reception ahead of arrival with any special dietary requests you may have, including if you require gluten-free or vegan options.
